And I jumped onto the back of the car rather than getting run over, and hung on instead of trying to jump off and hurt myself, and she drove up the road at 60 mph,and pulled over to where a cop was giving someone a ticket, should he have given her a ticket?

You're wife should be arrested for wreckless driving and endangerment. And she should also probably be put in a psych ward.

first of all you need a divorce, but unless you tell the cop the story and press charges against her you wont get a ticket. When we were about 15-18 we did stupid thing like drive around with friends on the hood, trunk or roof, and we never got tickets, just warnings.

A ticket for attempt murder, Hello!! dude I think you are seriously out of your mind and What do you think you are explaining, at the starting of the story seem to imaginary you said 'if your wife', and you decided to jump to the back of the car, why is that for, because you love to be killed by loved ones. Do you know that in India attempt murder is sentence with Hang to death or Life sentence, it is here(India) more offensive than actually committing a murder.

He would have given you a ticket...at least in Florida...you were not in a seat belt...they are nuts about that around here! My 75 year old grams was given a seat belt ticket for $90.00...she has intestinal trouble and seat belts (any constricting material) irritate the condition to the point where she Has To Go...

Actually , I think she could have gotten more than that, brecause she endangered someones life and practically tried to kill you but u would have to tell the officer the whole situation because there are 3 parts to a story, the vicitm, the defendent and the truth.

He can only give her a ticket if he sees the incident. I would say you have grounds for a divorce.
