is there anything i can do to fix this...this line really pisses me the hell of. is it a default in the tv or what? or is it a problem

Some TV's have a horizontal setting. If yours does not then you need to call a repairman...Can be fixed If it's NEW take it back!

There are several Problems that will cause this Problem.


Your tv is loosing the horizontal sync signal, Could be a Cable problem.

Could be a tuner problem in your tv.

Could be a Horizintal Circuit problem in your tv.

those are the most common problems, there are more But it could be as simple as cold soirder joints in a circuit somewhere.

It's probably a defect in the TV. However, it could be interference caused by a nearby appliance. Make sure you don't have anything electrical near the TV like something with a motor or magnet in it. If so, move it away and see if that helps.

do you have a digtal converter hooked up to it? if so call your cable tv company they can reset the dct or get it replaced if not sounds like interference or the tv itself has a problem
