Someone doesn't hurt you more easily if you forgive them. They hurt you more easily if you continue to put yourself in the same situation. If your bf is hurtful in general, it's time to go. But to try to create some artifical time line/rule about how long to be mad is a sign of not being mature enough to have a healthy relationship. Forgive him. Then decide if it's a relationship you should stay in or not.

Sometimes, staying upset "that long" can be taken as you don't love the bf and all you care is his faults. If you love him, there's no such thing as "forgive easilly", just forgive him and do make terms that he'll never hurt you again soon enough because you know when you love, getting hurt is not avoidable.

You can't really put a time limit on it.
And a lot of the "upset" depends on what happened to get you in that mood.
A final thought: forgiveness is within your power and to do so shows that you've taken another step towards maturity.

The sooner you forgive the better you will feel, mentally and physically. However, you have a decision to make. You must learn to deal with what made you upset or leave him because most likely he will do it or say it again.

confused about your question. there is no such thing as too long when you're mad at someone. it depends on what the person did to piss u off. U have to evaluate the situation and see if the person is worth forgiving. If their not, then move on. why sit around being mad forever.

mad for a long time is couter productive. If something makes you mad it is an opportunity to comunicate. If it is not possible grow and change together, there is no reason to stay in the relationship.

There is no right or wrong answer. But I do agree if you give in to a problem to quickly he will think it wont be so bad the next time.
