Fall theme with deep reds browns and golden colors. Use leaves and mums as decorations. I went to a wedding like that it was beautiful. The bridesmaids wore a deep apple red dress. Very lovely. Or for my August wedding I just did a theme of hearts. I like silver so everything had silver hearts on it. My favorite color is purple so a had many different shades of medium purple flowers and decorations. It was elegant yet relaxed. Go for whatever your hearts desire is.

I have been think of having a Hawaiian Theme wedding, or at least the reception.
If you want an outdoor wedding, maybe right at sundown, with TI KI torches lining the isle, give Lei's to the guests to wear. Have a roast pig. It would be lots of fun.
Also, the Oriental trading Company has great decorations really cheap!
Here are some links that I have been looking at. Good luck planning!!!!!

I am not sure where you live, but it sounds like the weather will still be nice. How about a garden wedding? There should still be plenty of beautiful flowers out. Your bridesmaides will be happy because you could pick out some comfortable dresses and shoes for them. Order some butterflys to release. You can also use cherubs for decorations, and wedding favor themes. Those also go well with the garden setting... good luck and congrats!

maybe, depending upon where you live you could do a luau type wedding with like a hawaiin feel to it. It is a great way to mix up several different colors. Also I went to the most unique wedding I've ever seen and it was during hunting season and the whole theme was camoflague, it was really cute.

We choose a western theme our wedding is this August. It can be done cheap or costly. I think we are somewhere in between. Pick a theme show yours personally or special meaning. Good luck

My wedding was Christmas/Winter themed, but that's because we got married in December.
For your time of year you could do a "fair" or "carnival" type theme. Like a Normal Rockwell theme with cotton candy twist. Maybe pinwheels for centerpieces at the reception.

summer is def. a good theme and very appropriate. but don't go hog wild w. all things summer. pick a few and repeat them throughout. too many ideas can become cluttered and detract from all your thoughtfullness.
ie: lady bugs & popsicles- stamp invitations w. ladybug stamp. serve popsicles along w wedding cake or at the cocktail hour. use that same ladybug stamp on your place cards. have bright colored centerpieces in gerber daisies. bright pink and orange say "summer" and also repeat the colors of popsicles. have your maids wear a sash in a pink tone and your maid of honour wear that color for the whole dress. coordinate your bouquets.
or sea star & waves: use the shape of waves on your invites or a sea star stamp. have the sound of waves playing softly in the background as you say your vows. use the suble tones of sand and sea as your color scheme. for centerpieces- do a sand scape w/ real sea sand and place cool blue candles in the sand. very pretty. use the same stamp on your place cards etc.
you get the idea.
hope this helps!

Butterflies symbolize a new beginning. They are also beautiful. You just have to be careful not to cross the line to cheezy. I found a lot of great stuff on ebay!
