Some people may not think it's really healthy, but it works for me. Long before I even heard of Atkins, I've been eating a high protien diet. I finally realized this a few years ago when my sister asked me why I thought my hair & nails grew quicker than hers & why I didn't eat as much or gain weight. The major difference was our diets. I'm not a big eater & never have been and when I do eat I usually want someting filling. I eat a good amount of eggs & meat, some dairy ( not big on ice cream or milk, love cheese, though ), at least 3 veggies/fruits a day. I eat beans, nuts, sweets here & there. I eat small amounts of most things. Half a candy bar, small piece of pizza, handful of berries......I get full really quickly. Even though I like good bread I eat only a small amount of carbs becuz they fill me up quickly, but I end up being hungry an hour or so later............

I eat so unhealthy I had kidney stones by age 18... Why I do this? Well, because unfortunately I can't pay my own bills so I'm stuck living with my parents who couldn't care less about my eating habits (if you're looking for a fruit or vegetable in my kitchen, you'll probably find some orange-shaped candies somewhere)
I usually end up eating a lot of bread and a lot of meat and, maybe, some cereal...

Lots of pasta and lean meat. It's more important what you DON'T eat. Don't eat too much at one time. Stay away from fried foods and dishes with cream sauces. And above all, stay away from anything with TOO MUCH SUGAR. There's so much sugar pumped into everything unnecessarily...processed sugar is just empty calories that take longer to digest than natural sugars found in fruit. I've lost nearly 10 pounds in the last year and a half just watching sugar intake.

Well, I try to be healthy. Im not always succesful though, I have a sweet tooth...LOL. I try to first, watch my portions because I think that no matter if youre eating healthy or not, eating too much is still not good for you. I try to eat lean meats and fresh fruits and veggies. I limit my starches(bread rice pasta potatoes..etc..I try to stay away from refined sugars and "junk food" but I do allow myself "treats" now and then. Do you think this is healthy?

yeah, a little TOO healthy! I eat foods I prepare myself, so I know everything that's in there. But, since it's so good, I eat the hell out of it!

No I don't. I just don't have an appitite for anything else but bread or cheese or candy. I hate eating meat and I barely get any veggies. I don't know why I don't like anything else.
