Take him to the doctors, chances are it's a dust allergy, or something similar to hayfever. Personally I can't go anywhere without tissues either!

If he is in playgroup or creche he will constantly get infections. Supposedly that boosts the immune system, but weakens your own, cos all you do is worry and spend nights upon nights blowing noses and listening to coughs and sneezes.
If the discharge is colourless it does sound like an allergy. You should go see the doctor, though the health visitor should have already arranged for allergy testing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Insist on having the IGE levels tested in blood and insist on prick test. Not pleasant but conclusive.
Chances are that you or the other parent are allergic yourself, your child will probably be too.
Also, maybe food intolerance??? White bread or milk??? Leave things out for a week or so and observe him.
Also, keep house well ventilated and turn down the central heating!!! Dryness makes respiratory problems worse.
Good luck in any case!!!!!!!1

More than likely he has really bad seasonal allergies, and depending on where you live it is possible to be miserable with them year-round. My son has suffered from seasonal allergies since he was around 4 months old, the doctor put him on a really great syrup and it has helped wonders. You could try giving him an over-the-counter allergy medicine for children and see if that helps.

Sounds like allergic rhinitis to me too.I would take him to an ear, nose and throat doctor and have him checked out. I work for an ENT and we see this all the time. They should be able to give him some kind of medication to help him out. It's nothing serious, just annoying. It will help him out though to be on an allergy medication. Good luck!

Only a doctor can help. Maybe it's allergies or a sinus problem. There was a child in my daughters Kindergarden class with a bad problem like that. It tuned out he needed some minor surgery to correct it.

Both my twins(2) and my nephew (4) had the same problem. Their doc says its severe allergies and gave them preventive medicines and now they are ok as long as they take their meds.
For us it was the meds or move to another state with less allergens. The best thing is to go to the doctor to be sure.

Sounds like allergic rhinitis, OTC meds for hayfever with a decongestant should sort it out, but better to have him checked out for sensitivities by a Dr. then you will know what to avoid.
