I want to be able to make backup copies of my favorite DVD's in case they are scratched beyond repair but the software on my computer says there are copyright protected. What are my options? (Free or low cost)

DVDFab Platinum HANDS DOWN!! One button copying in express mode and it works with every movie!! It is however, only free for 30 days...then you have to install a newer version or you loose access to it.

If I remember correctly it is only $50.00, you can make that up with 3 movies...well worth the cost. I have had a 100% success with every movie with no exceptions!! http://www.dvdidle.com

If you have desktop computer DVD burner, I highly recommed DVD Shrink (download links in the sources.) You'll also need Nero.

If you're using a laptop DVD Burner (can be less reliable), you should use a combination of DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink, again, I recommend also having Nero.

1st link - DVD Decrypter Download and Guide
2nd link - DVD Shrink Download and Guide
3rd link - Nero download

Download Nero version 6.3 or newer.

DVD Shrink...need nero installed also for it to work. The trial version of Nero will do.

Whatever program you've tried and liked, you can download a free cracked version at Limewire.com
