Photography is a wide field. It sounds funny like you couldn’t find any more than wedding. Photography is an art of capturing light in our own style. You have infinite chances to make your photograph unique. Think you have 3-D space filled with angles for your selection, the one which makes your style.

The answer to your question,

You can do portrait photography (don’t compare with the wedding stuffs). If you are in initial stage, you start shooting your friends, relatives by the way you make your framing perfect. Don’t shoot anything you see as good, but shoot anything in your way, the way which the results satisfy your will.

Landscape! – Search for Better big locations! - Make Calendars!

Do Fashion shoots – For an established company (like clothing & Accessories etc.,) – Please them with your great work!

Same way shoot machineries! Automobiles! Food photographs! Please them - Get orders!

Shoot for Press - Make story-boards - Present them!

All you need is a good eye making colors bright, creative application of techniques and will to put your step forward in any of the approach.

Remember, at first you must spend – for everything – maybe that’s your tactic that how you are going to make a sponsor – but your primary aim must lie in getting orders, which will make your portfolio strong – through which you can confidently demand in your future steps!

Hope I’ve answered you! All the best!

There are many great art careers. Advertising agencies for one, are always in need to artists. Graphic designer is another, the list goes on. They look for all types of artist. You're talking specific skills that you have right now. When you complete school, your specific creativity may be modified or useful in something else. Consider Pixar animation, the makers of Finding Nemo, The Monsters, and Wall-E, to name a few. The animators use to work for Disney who would not put their ideas into motion. It may not be easy but their are and will be jobs out there for you. As for wages, just do what you love and the money will follow.

Well, I can tell you that I am a school photographer. I work for all the area high schools and middle schools. You do things like school pictures, proms, homecomings, sports, classroom pictures, groups and graduations. I am sure there is more that I did not mention but in my opinion it gives you a starting point to find out what you might like to do or at least narrow your search. Good luck!

You could be a news paper photographer, although you'll probably need to start freelance. Send pictures into local papers and see what happens.

Otherwise, you could do families and friends.

Maybe you could find an opportunity to exhibit your photographs and sell them as artwork.

Babies! Everyone thinks their baby is the most special baby in the world and they want special pictures of it. When I had my last baby a photographer came to the hospital and wanted us to buy photos of the baby in the dads hands. They were real cute and I really wanted to, but we couldnt afford it. The cheapest package was $100! You could really make money taking creative pictures of kids.
