Your best bet is to go to
http://www.akc.org/breederinfo/breeder_search.cfm
This is the breeder referral search from the AKC. Keep in mind you must be specific about which size of poodle you are looking for, Standard, Toy, or Miniature.
You can search based on breed and your location. Good luck in finding your new dog!

I'll give you three guesses
1. A hardware store
2. A grocery store
3. A pet store or humane society
P.S. You should be smarter than the animal that you plan to purchase.
P.P.S. The answer is 3

Do not get a dog from a petstore- it's from a puppymill!!!!! Go to petfinder.org and find a list of adoptable poodles near you.

look in the paper, pet shops. but make sure it is a good pet shop. you don't want to buy from anyone that is involved in puppy mills, and believe me they are out there. check animal shelters and humane societies. hope this helps.

your local SPCA.
they need love. they need a home. no one should support puppy mills when thousands of strays are being killed daily.
