It just wouldn't be a margarita without tequila. The everclear would be just to over powering.

Stick with the traditional tequila. I'm not sure I would use everclear if you want to remember what's going on.

better stick with tequila, everclear is too much like grain alcohol! you won't last long enough with everclear and will miss the party!

Unless you want a bunch of drunken people staggering all over the place and puking everywhere, I'd go for the tequila. You can still get drunk, but are probably going to be less destructive.

tequilla, silver 1800 or silver patron are the best. Everclear is too strong.
