Ok, for a year and a half ive been dieting and struggling to get to my weight goal. YEAH, im finally there and happier than ever. 5, 7" and 125 LBS. Now I have a dilemma. How can I maintain my weight of exactly 125. I dont want to get skinnier but I DEFINATLY dont want to put it back on. Im afraid to start eating real food again, I think im so used to dieting im afraid I cant live a normal life anymore without counting every calorie I put in my mouth, without worrying about how fat is this food gonna make me. Im just so worried about eating because im afraid Ill gain weight. Any good tips on maintaining a weight? Calorie intake and exercise programs? And any tips on how to get over my obssesion with counting calories and not eating anything but veggies and fruit and chicken would be GREATLY appreciated. I dont know how to stop the guilt if I eat a piece of pizza once in a while!!

well, given that you obviously know how to eat right just keep doing it. The more you get in shape the less you want to have bad foods. Although, when you do...make the exception. Give yourself a "cheat day" or even two a week...this way you aren't depriving yourself of anything. Also, stay away from sugar as much as you can! Try to go a few days a week with no sugar at all...if that is possible.

Maybe your normal weight isn't 125lbs. Maybe you should weigh a little more. I think you should eat sensibly and exercise, and what ever you weigh, be happy with it. Weight is just a number, don't be so worried about. I'm 5'8" and I weigh 150lbs, and wear a size 8. I don't think I look like a weigh that much. Everyone thinks I am lying about my weight, but I'm not. The main thing is to be healthy, and that includes eating properly. It sounds like you haven't been eating right. Im not really sure , but what ever happens be happy with the way God made you!!!!

Just watch your portions. You're so used to counting calories, carry it a little further, and depending on your activity level you can pretty much eat whatever you want, as long as you do it in moderation. You can have a slice of pizza, but don't eat half of a pizza.
