I hide cut out paper hearts around the house that had notes on them. Like little coupons of things I would do just for him on our anniversary. I cooked spaghetti because it's fairly cheap, and we had a candle light dinner. After dinner I told him we were going to play a game. "Find my Heart". He'll remember the work you put in cutting hearts and hiding them. End the night with a shower/bath together.

well I think you should do something both of you like... Love does not mean $$$... pack a nice dinner and sit under a tree somewhere, with a radio and favorite cds. Leave notes through out the house starting at the door, the last note will lead to a wonderful time... whether it is a bath together, a strip show, a good massages or even _______ you fill in the blanks.
There are so many things that you can do.... what does he/she like.. .movies (get a favorite/dress up like a character), favorite dish (make the dish together)
GET RID of the KIDS!!!!!!!
There are many things you can do... I believe that the most memorable and special are those times that you just spend together you and him/her. when you are 70/80 yrs old.. .something you can look back on and be like baby you remember the anniversary when ________________________________________________!
Good Luck and Have fun!

I have some ideas
1. If you he has an email account you can send him some virtual greeting cards from yahoo greetings for your anniversary.
2. Go to the grocery store get some strawberries, whipped cream, candles, and start from their.
3. Make a mix CD of all of his favorite songs.
4. Find some free events in your town that you can take him to.
5. The two of you can have a nice picnic in the park.
6. Fix him a good meal, with candles.
7. Send him virtual flowers (www.GoodFlowers.com)
The main way to show your appreciation to him is to always be their for him. I wish you and him the best in life, because I wish I could find someone who cared for me, like you do for him.

Not knowing you and your partner in person makes it impossible to give detailed advice that makes sense.
In general terms all I can advice is: Be sensitive and realistic, use your imagination and think of something that you both like and can well afford. Don't make too much fuss about the day, and do nothing that could upset him. Just be yourself in the best way you can. That is more appreciated by a man than a special show or performance for one day.

Well, most men would jump right in and say...SEX...but that isn't really necessawry (assuming he's a level-headed gentleman). Consider what he likes to do when you two are alone. Remember, an anniversary is the celebration of the two of you being together for a set length of time, not about one person trying to please the other.
Attempt to make him happy, but plan on him meeting you half-way. Otherwise, the night may go ary.

Go to the Dollar store, buy lots of those small candles. Pickup some cheap bath stuff too. Fix his favorite meal and eat by candlelight. Then run a hot bath and both of you have fun again by candlelight. After that is up to you. Hope you have a night you will always remember!

They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. There is also another.."appendage" that you can use. Cook him a great meal, spend a great night together, go on a long walk, talk for a while, then take him back home and give him a special gift. Would sound good to me if I were the guy, anyhow.
