If you want something really nice, contact the Arab Cultural Center. If you want an assortment of all kinds, try the open air markets of Barbes-Rochechouart. There is a metro stop with that address. Don't hang there at night.

oh get ******* real. if you're a preppy **** from new england it might get scary to see black people out on the street at night. there's nothing wrong with that whole barbes, pigalle, anvers, clichy area.
****, there's even a fantastic nightlife there (La Loco, O'sullivan's, the Moulin Rouge, Pubs, bars etc. etc)
