Reason. While many ppl look at the war from one perspective war has many other points.
Just a few of them
God used war to give prommised land to jews. He command them kill every child, female and man in the promissed land ( interesting way of giving away promises)
War stimulates the economy regardless how eveil they are.
War moves the technoly. All technolgies always were comming from military at all history times.
God was smart to figure out if there would be no war we would over populate this planet long time ago. So blaming on evil he intelgently balance out the population.
Those reasons may sound cruel but if you think... no1 has a better solution to overpopulation of this planet and resources are limited. I did not see GOD stopping around and saying ehre guys i can create more trees , more food for you. Some 1 has to take care of it.

The “just war” doctrine requires rigorous consideration to determine if defense by military force is legitimate.

Offensive war is never justified.

All the following considerations must be true to justify war:
1. The damage inflicted by the aggressor on the nation or community of nations must be lasting, grave, and certain;
2. All other means of putting an end to it must have been shown to be impractical or ineffective;
3. There must be serious prospects of success;
4. The use of arms must not produce evils and disorders graver than the evil to be eliminated.

With love in Christ.

There is no such thing as peace through war..... not so long ago in the 70's youth spoke out against war in a peaceful manner.... I don't recall the name of the university... I remember watching the students putting flowers in the nozzles of riffles. and then a blood bath ensued... if you had peace in mind... you would have listened to the children... America worships guns and war. you live by war, founded by war. always war... if it would have worked you would have peace right now. nothing comes from violence. and karma has a way of catching up to you.

its a oxymoron to call a War holy... there is no such thing as a holy war even though this concept/idea was invented during the time of Louis-II with the 1st Crusades and Pope motivated the people to march to Jerusalem to take over the place as its their birth right

Satan the Devil is at war on Jehovah God.

Satan has waged war on God by using humans since he deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden when he convinced Eve to disobey God commandments (Gen 3:1-5). The first ever human sin. Satan has been responsible for every human death in mankinds history. Adam and Eve had perfection but it was taken away because because they both defied God's command (Genesis 2:16-17) and their decendants - me and you are still paying because we inherited imperfection and death because of what happened in the Garden of Eden (Romans 5:12).

Jesus is our rescuer in all of this because as a faithful Son he remained loyal to his creator Jehovah God (Colossians 1:15). Thus Jesus perfect loyal sacrifice paid the cost for sin of the disloyal-once perfect Adam and Eve so that faithful God fearing humans could have salvation with a resurrection of life (John 11:25-26). The first prophesy of Jesus coming is in Genesis 3:15

Satan and his followers be it fallen angels who followed Satan who are now demons are at war with God and his Universal right to rule. Satan also uses his human organisations such as people in false religions and apostates and others who refuse to accept God as their ruler as his weapons to destroy as many humans as he can before Jehovah God cuts off and destroys Satan and his wicked organisation and humans forever.
Today this war is being carried out and though we cannot see it visibly because it is a spiritual war that is taking place (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). The war for the salvation of mankind and Jehovah God's sovereign right to rule over mankind. One God has answered Satan fully and beyond doubt that only God himself has the right to Universal rule and mankind cannot rule themselves because of the proven consequences and all evil and all those who defy God are destroyed is then the war over. Faithful mankind will inherit the Earth as God intended as it was once in Eden and the whole Earth will become a paradise once again and faithful people who survived the war will live forever under a heavenly government never to be brought to ruin again. Wickedness will never return.

Scriptural proofs:

Matthew 5:5 Inherit the earth

Isaiah 45:18 God did not create the earth for nothing but to be lived upon.

Psalm 104:5 and Psalm 119:90 The earth remain forever

Psalm 115:16 The earth given to sons of men

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 evil doers not inherit God's kingdom

Isaiah 65:21-22 Faithful humans will build homes in the new paradise earth.

Revelation 21:8 evil destroyed forever (the 2nd and final death)

1 Corinthains 10:20 Isaiah 2:4 No more war

2 Corinthians 4:4 Satan is ruler of this world (until armageddon)
also Matthew 4:8-9 Satan offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world. Something that Satan had in his possession to be able to offer it.
