Have you tried tea tree oil? I've recommended this to people with severe eczema and it has really worked for them. It cleared my acne up in a matter of days, and nothing else had ever worked for me. It works wonders on most skin conditions.

I buy mine from an ebay store, NaturesInventory. They sell it for very cheap, 4 times less than I can get it here at a drugstore.

You can use it straight too. Don't dilute it. Soak a cotton pad and apply it directly to the skin. If you have trouble with this on your scalp, you can also add some to your shampoo or conditioner. Try it and see!

Get some Balsam of Myrrh and massage it onto your legs at night before bedtime or anytime you're going to be home for a while. Put on some L O N G socks or leggings to keep it from getting elsewhere because it does stain fabric and has a strong odor. It is essentially made for skin rashes and works wonders.

Go to the hospital. The exact thing happened to me when I was younger. When I moved to middle school, there was a rumor going around that I had a wooden leg because of my limp. I went to a dermatologist and she immediately sent me to the hospital I was only their for three days and with the IV and creams that they gave me, I was completely healed. I was wearing shorts for the first time ever. I hope the best for you

If you visit wikipedia.org and search for eczema, there is a whole section on traditional remedies that you may or may not have tried. I hope it helps. Please note that it metions toxicity, though-- like, you may have a reaction to some of the remedies listed, so do some homework on them before you try. Good luck.

theres not much to do about it. my daughter has it since she was born also and we have to use creams and ointments.

it will come and go but will always be there , you just have to keep yourself moisture with lotions so your skin wont be so dry out and it will look smoother and not look scarred.

dont bother what people think. i dress my baby girl in shorts and skirts and people can clearly see she has it and it doesnt bother her .

My Brother had the same thing. It runs in the same family as milk allergies and asthma I am told. He finally got rid of his by going to the beach and splashing in sea water. He also takes lots of sea water home to use in between going to the beach. Its worth a go .

My family has it too...inherited. My little sister and I have it. It's so awful. We have went to a dermotologist and everything, but there is just no cure for it . Most people outgrow it. We have tried lotions, elidel, steroid cream, vaseline, vitamin E, and everything. Tough luck, no cure .

Have you tried going to a Dermatologist, over the counter medications may not be enough.
