Using Hebrew for a tattoo is improper. Hebrew is LaShon Kodesh, the holy tongue. Torah forbids making tattoos on your body.

weeellllllll.... there is ONE way she could KINDA say she was doing it...

there is a lunar calendar which has been in use by the jews for over 4000 years. their months have different names. she could find out what the date was in that calendar and have it written in greek.

that's about the only way i can think of...

no, wait! she could use the word april translated into greek (which is Απρίλιος) then have the numbers be the ones used by the hebrews, the which would be the letter Bet, if she didn't want to include the year it would be fairly simply. putting the year 2006 in hebrew numbers would be slightly insulting since most people who speak hebrew don't believe jesus was anyone special.

the following link has an image of the number table for hebrew.

I've got written down the Greek language (school) and I know the Hebrew language fluently.....I think she got mixed up because Greek pretty much originated from Hebrew (all of them are just backwards and upside down and some made up)

Two separate languages. She needs to decide which language she wants to go with.
