No- at this point there is only treatment. Several antiviral medications are available to treat genital herpes. These medications can relieve symptoms, shorten the length of outbreaks, and prevent some recurrent outbreaks. They cannot cure genital herpes nor prevent all recurrent outbreaks. A vaccine to prevent herpes infection is not available at this time, but several are being studied and may be available soon.

I got identified with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 5 years ago, whilst I was still in college and had a mindless one-night stand. I know lots of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for my entire life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores around her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/nwrPP everything got better.

Not only was I able to eliminate all traces of the hsv from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This system provided me the chance to be happy and experience true love again. Now I want to help others too by sharing this story.

You cannot cure herpes per se but you can prevent an outbreak by boosing your immune system. I would suggest looking into L-Lysine supplements. You can take an oral tablet and you can also get a topical cream to apply directly to an outbreak. This supplement can be purchased at your local health food store. You can also eat alot of garlic to boost your immune system. People who I have talked to who have done this have kept their outbreaks at bay for years. Good luck.

Can't be cured. If you get it, you have it for life. Even though there are medicines to help prevent some outbreaks of it, herpes CAN be passed on to your sexual partner even if you have no outward symptoms of an outbreak!!! It's best to use a condom every time.
