Depends how pedantic you want to get as each of these words means something completely different if you consult a dictionary:

Myth – a tale with supernatural characters or events, an imaginary person or object. Mythology – myths collectively, the study of them.

Folklore – traditional beliefs popularly held

Spirituality – belief that the spirits of the dead can communicate with living people

Religion – a system of faith or worship

As it happens, most myths are based on stories told by bards or storytellers to explain past events which may or may not have a basis in truth. Old religions remain religions but become dead (such as the Greek worship of their gods) and new religions only exist because something better hasn’t come along for people to believe in yet. Spirituality means more than the dictionary definition to people these days and involves wholeness of spirit by whatever means.

Really there should be four different categories.

In my religion God never changes. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. Hebrews 13:8. Mythology is always changing. Folklore also changes. religion has a reality sense more than mythology and folklore. When I make up my own Gods and keep changing them at will then that would be mytholgy and folklore, which should be separated. Most of that stuff does'nt make any sense anyway because the stories keep changing. religion would be closer to the philosophy perspectives.

They are definitely not the same,All organised religions are based on people who actually existed historically.
Abraham,Moses - Judaism
Jesus-Christianity
Buddha -Buddhism
Mohammed -Islam
and so on...
Mythology is the stuff of legends, superstitions, ancient beliefs and folklore...not historically documented.
Same ae asking what the difference is between fact and fiction.

Well not quite.

Religions still have believers whereas mythology doesn't.
Thats about the only difference.

So I guess from that standpoint they probably do deserve to be in different sections.

Spirituality is a very broad topic (even atheists can be spiritual), and has a following.

They are not. God/Gods simply exist. (Before Religion)
Religion are made by men. Rules are made by men. Books are writen by Man. Wars are made by Men.

Religion means subject related to Relgions, Buddhism, Christians, Muslim. You should be stricted linked to rules, dogmas and eanch religion's perception. You can talk about Noah, Bible, Torah, Siddartha, Coran, Book of dead, Khali, Xintoist gods, people warnings.

Sprituality means other level, you are not talking about dogmas and rules. You are talking about more subjective thing. You can talk about dawfs, angels, PSI, astral projections, past lives, feelings.

Everything is just a matter of layers. One if above the other. Spirituality is in the inner circle. Beyond rules, only felling, wihtout boundries.

It's a handy little trick to separate the thinkers from the believers and so (on the whole) stop world war III breaking out via an online discussion board :oD
