In the past 36 years, I have NEVER found a physician who has heard of this medical condition, despite the fact that it is a violent and potentially life-threatening neuro-psych reaction to procaine or other "caines", whether contained in other medication or administered alone. Because I suffered this reaction during an injection of penicillin-G, it has left me afraid to have any injections, including those required for dental work. I have found some info on the internet, but I have found no professionals from whom I can get more definitive information. Anyone with any information regarding Hoigne's Syndrome, or who knows of someone who might be knowledgeable -- please help!!! Thx, (Desperate) Parkey
