I think that maybe God is saving that level of healing or miracle for a time right before the tribulation, as a last sign of His power.
Many people have wondered about this subject, even those with the gift of healing, but I do not know of any one receiving an answer.

I have no idea why God has not done such a miracle in today. But do not discount the other miracles such as a cure from cancer. Ever read where people have lost their appendages but they were reattached? Count this as a miracle because only God can guide the hands of a surgeon to do such fine work. My OB doc says even the birth of a baby is a miracle. Docs can only do so much when a baby is born and when the baby takes in their first breath of air they take in enough to fill a football field. Docs can force this to happen -- hence the miracle of birth. I have seen true miracles and never will discount them or any one elses. One day I may a need a miracle.

Ha!!! Yes, that would make a Statement. But, God does not like to Over Do the Statement. Actually what God has done is try to give man the Intelligence to do these things. As with the Arms, man has made much progress in this area, prosthetics and new Robotic Technology. Synthetic Skins. But, here the test; "Who does man attribute his advancements too"? His Ego or God?
When a man gives recognition to God for his work in any area, not just Medical. This man will find God will open his Mind to even greater things. Really Cool how it works.
What has hindered man is; Greed. We had the Chance for Solar Energy, we chose Oil. More Money. This an example and many others.

There is nothing God cannot do. Some healings are a result of medical knowledge and treatment and not directly from God, but they are from God indirectly as He has given us the ability to know and learn how to heal through medical breakthroughs. Now in the case of the guy who lost both arms, tell me why it is so hard to believe that God, who created our very bodies in all their intricacy, could not perform a miracle. Of course He could but He is God and He created us and He can perform any miracles He chooses, its not up to us to tell Him what kind of miracles to perform and on who, and when. God uses all situations to bring good, and how do you know His purpose in having a man with no arms. You don't! and you can't know what good can be brought from that situation. Only God knows.

With internal disease, God works within us. With external injuries, God works through those around us.
Re-attachment of limbs is truly considered a miracle. God's grace enables physicians to comprehend and carry out amazing medical miracles every day.
Who knows what miracles will be present in the future? Paralyzed people may walk, blind people regain their sight, etc.
When God (Jesus) was present in human form, he indeed did re-attach a soldier's ear at the Garden of Gethsemane.
When Jesus was physically present on Earth, He, indeed, performed miracles such as you question.
Jesus is now in heaven, but the Holy Spirit is physically in us, enabling us to, through grace, heal ourselves.
Through faith, we believe.

That's a great question. I'm sure you'll get some really twisted answers.
And, it also raises the question as to why God hasn't risen anyone from the dead (really dead and in the grave dead) since the time when (according to the myths) Jesus performed tricks for his followers.

God has the power to fix anything He wants....I think it has to do with Him needing us in heaven, or still needing us down here on Earth, whether He cures us or not. He can take us whenever He's ready....but miracles happen everyday!!!!!

Very true and very funny! I'm not particularly religious but I think that if God were to make himself that obvious we would have no choice but to worship him and that would be defeating the point of faith.

There is no God.
And medical "miracles" can always be explained eventually after a thorough examination.
