As long as you are a minor and/or live under their roof, you are their responsibility.
Don't like the situation? Prepare to move out when the time comes.

This may not be fair, but life is usually not fair.
First, learn from your position so you might take a different attitude with your own children.
Second, consider your condition as nothing more than preparation for when you leave your parental home to have your own place. You will not be a "slave" forever.
Third, this may be the best incentive for you to move out as quickly as possible. With work and possibly school, your own housework will be easier than what you are doing now.

I'm not sure on what the circumstances are with you and your mother but I do know this, with every experience in life is a lesson learned and just think a moment about what you are learning from this one, you are learning how to keep house for when you are older for this you need to be thankful of your mother for teaching you to do this. Sometimes we forget about all the things are parents have done for us over the years as we grow that when it is our turn to give a little back to them we become angry and resentful when we really need to feel love and compassion and always respect our parents. Think for a moment you called her a fat cow but just think about what it would be like if she was to call you names like that. Name calling never gets you anywhere it just leaves a bitter place in you that keeps growing and getting worse. Try turning to your mother and in a respectful tone tell her you would enjoy cleaning much more if you two could do it together, quality time between parents and their children can be spent in the oddest ways but be vary beneficial to both.

Does she do ANYTHING? Do you live with your dad too? Are you the one doing everything: cooking, cleaning, etc... I don't think that's fair. You still attend school right? I hope you do! Chores are right sometimes but not if the parents are forcing you to do everything. See how it turns out later, and post more details.
I was sort of abused as a child. I guess my answer is different from the others.

if they beat you or make you sleep on the floor in the basement then that's illegal but at least you'll be prepared for when you move out! Good luck and I feel sorry for you. I have to clean my room, vacuum once a week, wash the dishes on the weekends, make lunches, and polish the furniture once a week.

No, it's not fair. But her, being your legal guardian, is immune to child labor laws that protect you. Meaning that if she owned a shop, you could work in it outside the binds of child labor laws. Have you ever tryed to tell her that you're being overworked? While it's totaly legal, it's entirely unethical to have you do all the work.

you should'nt talk about your mom like that. i am sure she works very hard and is probably sitting on the couch because she has just worked all day. and there is nothing wrong with her expecting you to help out. you live there to. you'll be happy to know how to do things when you are on your own.

That is a pleasant thing to say. Hmmm....who feeds, clothes and buys you things? Who changed your diaper and such? I would be ashamed of myself if I were you. I imagine (1) your over exaggerating (2) get used to cleaning as you will have your own home to clean someday and (3) you sound spoiled.
