I think that it is about time we put this murderer out of commission.
Reichman2007, you feel sad for all of us? Why? Because we are pleased to know that one less heartless murderer is no longer a threat to the innocent, peace loving, men, women and children that he has PERSONALLY murdered or decapitated over the years? Including (more likely than not) your fellow country men! Ideally, peace and love would fill the entire world. But it doesn't. That is not my choice, as I am sure it is not yours either. So what would you rather us do? Allow him to kill, behead, rape and torture? There will never be 100% acceptance behind any killing, of any sort. And personally I believe that is a good thing....I may not agree with your position, but you are helping me see the other side.
For me, I am pleased that former terrorist is no longer with us. Fear gives terrorists "super-human-like" power and today, the troops of the U.S.A. and collation countries, showed the world terrorists are mere mortals. He was a man, an evil man and that is it!

The death of al-Zarqawi will help the US and the Iraqi government politically; however, his death will not end the sectarian killings in Iraq. AQ in Iraq will be hampered operationally, but each cell operates independently and will continue to do so. Without their leader, the effectiveness and creativity of attacks will be hampered, but AQ will continue to launch attacks to try to "prove" that they are still operational. This operation was a success because Iraqis are taking their country back and are providing intel to US and Iraqi forces. If this trend continues, then the country of Iraq wins, and the killings will begin to decline.

Sure it will help, it is one less scumbag, but will it make a differance, I doubt it there is alway's another scumbag waiting to step up to the plate. The killings will remain the same until we pull out, then they will have their civil war and decide what direction they want their country to take.

If You're talking about Abu Musab Al Zarqavi, then I feel that such people who encourage the killing of innocent civillians would always end up losing. Sinners never win and will never win.

I think it was really great the way the media undermined it by filming all the dying children and civilians, crawling around all bloody and limbless, while talking about killing him in a precise bombing.
Go USA.
