I'm a god-fearing person. I asked a biblical question one time and got answers from people of the muslim faith who made hateful statements in my opinion. I reported it. Still there. I make a statement that the people who were responsible for 9/11 were of the Muslim faith. It got removed. Maybe I was mistaken...were they christian, atheist, scientologists? Maybe I'm mistaken.

To the one who said not to spew our religious beleifs..why is there a religion and spirituality section then? Why was I wrong to ask about a verse? Just curious Malicart.

Wording has everything to do with it...directly insulting participants or making statements that are meant to direct hate toward someone will be removed. Stated opinions will not be removed unless then are rude or overtly derogatory. You can say say that the people responsible for the 9/11 attacks are of Muslim faith...you cannot say that all Muslims are terrorists...that kind of thing. You mentioned that hateful statements were made in your opinion...that's understandable, but someone just stating that they think the bible is just literature or that it has more man than god in it is just a person stating personal belief...someone saying that the bible and all who follow it are...fill in the blank is different. I didn't see your questions so I am not sure, but that might have been the problem...there is a link that gives guidelines for questions and answers...good luck.
And Aleks is only half right...you can't go into someones home and do and say what you want...you are there as a guest and must live by their rules or leave...Yahoo has rules so if we want to participate we need to follow them as best we can.

I don't fear God so maybe I can help. If you quote the bible as the ultimate truth then you are condemming every other religion. You have to expect people of other religions to take offense.
If you have a question that tries to blame violence on a religion then you should be removed as a bigot.
Most of our serial killers were christians. That doesn't mean christians favor mass murder. It means some people are sick.
Personally I wish there were no religions so there would be one less thing to fight over and set off the sickkos

Should muslims make hated statements to people of other religons, absolutley not, however, the people responsible for 9/11 claim to be muslim but i don't think they practice their relifon correctly, plus 9/11 is a touchy subject for everyone

Today ,I reported to "tell us what do you think " not only once but twice, for removal of my answer from the draft stage,( to no where).
It seems it is prelude to yahoo answers becoming ,sick so soon again. This time the culprit seems to be the "Check Spelling".Its hick-ups caused the problem. The lordly check spellings moved up from its position by an inch as he does not like my answer, become spoil sport.

What does that verse have to do with 9/11?
And, Malicart, Muslims are not only killing themselves.

people don't relize the law is on the side of the offender, not the offended. i can say whatever i want, no matter how hateful, and no one has the "right" to not be offended.
but yahoo does own the site and we have to follow their rules.
sorry.

I think Yahoo uses automated scanner to monitor yahoo answer. It removes Q and A with certain words and/or certain topics.
