I've noticed many people out here on YA do think of God and religious things but there are some who do not and it is due to our culture. God has been put aside, prayer taken from schools, some wish to take it off our currency, etc. We are living in very immoral times where sex is okay, disordered behavior is okay, etc. It is almost as if people are thinking "If I think its okay, then it is okay" with no regard for God's commandments or any type of moral and ethical conduct. Thats pretty much like saying to myself as I hold up an orange "Well, I think it is an orange, so it is an orange"......wrong, wrong, wrong. It is an orange, not because I think it is...But just because it is and my thinking it is doesn't alter its properties of substance. Many of us think of our own personal selves first and think sex is okay. We are bombarded on the ads, the media, tv, etc with images of sexual ideas and we accept that as the norm. It is not....God gave us very strict moral laws and contrary to popular believe, sex is for marriage only (1 man and 1 woman) and to be enjoyed for pleasure and procreation in this context only. To use others for just a sexual object is to disrespect and demean that individual's dignity, including their own dignity.

Well, one way and another religion has had a bad rap. People have used religious belief as the reason to go about murdering and torturing people; The Inquisition,. War in N. Ireland, and present day Muslim terrorists to name but a few! These are really just people who are full of rage (to do with their own life experiences) and are looking for someone to vent it on. Generally not the people who caused them pain. (Usually but not always, their parents). However sex has been something wonderful for a great many people (The one's who were not abused!) so it has been more attractive and therefore the advertising industry has used it and promoted it ad nauseum. We are now supposed to think there is nothing else in life worth having. We are being manipulated quite deliberately to make money for the manipulators. The way money is seen as the most important thing is destroying our lives and we all complain, but we go along with it. (usually because we feel helpless to do anything about it). We could call their bluff by refusing to buy the rubbish that we are being sold. "Things" (consumer items) are just distractions which stop us from seeing what is really valuable in life, friendship, closeness, love, compassion and spirituality are a few that spring to mind. If we had these, even the compulsively acquisitive would be happy, though they don't know it yet. (and if we don't change soon there won't be time left for us to change.) There is an organisation called freecycle.com (or dot org I"m not sure which) where people give away their excess items; anything from bricks to a piano I've seen advertised. It's supposed to stop things going into landfill, but it seems to me it's a good way to stop buying ever more "stuff" It's free and you have to offer something first before you can ask for anything.

the reason people do not think of religious things on the net or in general is beause we are living in what the bible call this time we are living in the last days so the bible also say that men will get from bad to worst and this is what is exactly is going on today so as we go deeper in this system the less people are or will think about religion or GOD. Sex is one of the sweetest pleasure that GOD has give onto man but he wanted us to enjoyed it the right way that is to be married. But seen that we are living in the last days people are getting more&more sex crazy . So the bottom line is people love themselves and pleasure more than GOD or even the principles or GOD's words the bible

Because satan is prince of the airwaves...(Eph 2:2)
He controls it, and it seems, many MANY people are controlled by the net!
They dont see it because they have become accustomed to it as a resource- which it is...but it also can be used skillfully to deceive, manipulate us and lead us astray.
We are dependant of entertainment and information these days, and the net has it all! So for us, it is easy access, inexpensive, and, a habit.
Companies know this, and market sex, etc...our vices, weaknesses, because all they care about is making money and ratings, etc...And people allow it.
I'm guilty of being addicted- from getting easy access to the wether to communication with people, entertainment news and passing the time.
So, I'm not judging anyone, I'm just stating facts.
**** is a $12 billion a year industry, the revenues of the **** industry in the U.S. are bigger than the NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball combined. Worldwide **** sales are reported to be 107 billion. To put this in perspective, Microsoft, who sells the operating system used on most of the computers in the world (in addition to other software) reported sales of 56.8 billion in 2005.
According to the Justice Department, in 1998 there were 118,000 X-rated Web sites generating 1025 million dollars in revenue. Within just three years this number increased to 280,000 X-rated Web sites.
62% of all website visits are sexual in nature.
The No. 1 search term used at search engine sites is the word “sex”. Users searched for “sex” more than other terms such as "games," "travel," "music," "jokes," "cars," "weather," "health" and "jobs" combined. The study also found that "pornography/porno" was the fourth-most searched for subject.
The U.S. Customs Service estimates that there are more than 100,000 websites offering child pornography (which are illegal) worldwide.
I could go on!
This world has gotten so bad, so ok with everything, accepting bad things and shunning morals and responsibilities to make money, that, we have lost so much innocente and protection and morals.
BUT- where there is God, there is hope!
There is plenty of sites that speak of Jesus, the Bible, etc...
Its just that not a lot of people are looking for that in this corrupt world- unfortunately the demand isnt high, so the supply wont be either.
And one interesting footnote:
www (WorldWideWeb) is translated in Greek/Hebrew numerical equal as "666"
Hmmm....

I see the net as very "religious" in the fact that if anything happens on it a religious group doesn't like, they are screaming on TV to have the net "Policed". (Check out some of the Christian Chat rooms on Yahoo... you'll see what I'm talking about).
Sex is the last, greatest, taboo of our society. It has a lot of negativity attached to it, even though most of it is put on to it by religious groups themselves. Our society, being majority Christian, views anything dealing with sex outside of marriage as a horrible thing. But, that in itself, draws attention to sex even more.

Sex is far more interesting and entertaining than any other religion.
Sex could be correctly classified as a religion if it is practiced regularly and with the proper amount of enthusiasm.
Additional comment re: 'sex is a sin"
According to general bible doctrine, usually promoted by Christians, sexual activity is the "original sin" and so evil that Paul admonished people that they should not have sex. And, if they absolutely had to have sex, they should get married.
In other words, the only purpose for a Christian marriage is to provide sexual relief for people who cannot control their urges.
Christianity opposes sexual activities of any kind.

SO its about how you speak , what you speak... and how people have all the sex up thoughts in mind. In Life in these days , many moments come up naturally which lead to things happening around SEX iin our life.

Is that your experience? Mine is much different. I spend almost all of my time online learning about people and religion. Why does it bother you what others choose to do with their time? Sex is a major part of life. You can't hide that. You can't ignore it. Why can't we just allow people to do what they want without judging them? I wish the people in the world would become more open to talking about sex. It is natural.

Sex is the Devil's alternative which people going down the broad way love
than the Cross of Christ - which one has to carry down the narrow way.
