Yes. Like the first poster said, it was AMZ (Abu Musab Al Zarqawi). That's not even his real name, but nobody cares. What matters is that AMZ was a very bad person. Unlike some other terrorists who have a legimitate grievance against the US, AMZ just wanted to kill Americans. He's not even from Iraq. He's from Jordon. He went all the way to Iraq for no other reasons other than to stir up civil war and kill Americans. It's too bad we couldn't catch him alive, but we're definitely better off now that he's dead.

I suppose it's a victory, but terrorist infrastructure is designed to carry out objectives independent of their leaders-- they operate in cells, making it difficult to combat them with a "chop off the head and the body dies" mentality. It's more like a $h!tload of heads that need chopping.
