1) In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Genesis 1-2
2) "I am the Alpha and the Omega- the beginning and the end," says the Lord God. "I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come, the Almighty One." Revelations 1:8
3) And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. Genesis 2:7 ( not ape that "evolved" into man)
4) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, o powers: all things were created by him, and from him. Colossians 1:16

Anyone who thinks either 'Creationism Alone' or 'Evolution Alone' are sufficient explanations for the origin of human beings is dead wrong.
Those of us, who are open-minded enough, understand that one can only get a glimpse of the Truth behind creation if you combine both Creationism and Evolution.
First let's tackle Creationism; that is - the 'six days' thing. The bible is not attempting to convince anyone that God created everything in six 24-hour cycles. The purpose of the six of "work" followed by a seventh day of "rest" is t oset a precedent for the Sabbath Day. If even God rested for a day, so should we. Keep Holy the Sabbath. People who take Creationism literally refuse to accept dinosaur fossils as real. This is ridiculous! When asked how those fossils got there, the answer always comes back, "Satan." In other words, they would rather dismiss fossils as bogus than attempt a logical explanation.
Fossils, among many other things, prove the universe took a heck of a lot longer than six 24-hour cycles to create. It took something like 5 billion years?
I have no idea if human beings evolved from apes. I don't care. Even if, someday, science proves humans evolved from apes, that still doesn't invalidate God's Plan.
Science, arrogantly, wants to assume it can answer questions that God cannot or will not. Science thinks it can "prove God wrong" be definitively confirming humans evolved from apes. This is nonsense as well.
It is entirely possible that God is employing methods is using evolution to develop life over a long period of time. We can accept the reality of evolution while, at the same time, not dimish God's absolute power in creating everything.
This is why evolution and creationism can and do co-exist.

evolution.
a few reasons why. i can't give you actual names and dates and things cause i left my evo book on the other side of the ocean.
but here goes.
1. animals are alive now who's fossils cannot be found millions of years ago (humans). all we have are some ape like creatures. no causal link assumed yet, just that while there are tons of fossils, there are none of us.
2. animals who's fossils we have found bear remarkable resemblances to current animals, horses are a good example.
3. all this assumes the legitimacy of carbon 14 dating. (carbon normally occurs in carbon 12 form, but isotopes of the 14 kind are found only in living tissue and degrade by a known number of years)
4. darwin's observation of different finches, how they were each adapted to a different food source, or to a different environment. all were found on the same island, and they do no migrate (ie leave the island). natural selection favored those who particularly well adapted at obtaining food from a specific source.
5. humans are now taller than they were only 3000 years ago (Egyptian mummies).
from this and tons of other information we can logically infer that animals change over time and those best adapted to their environments will be the ones who survive.
also that we started out as simpler creatures who eventually became more advanced.

Creation is so much easier to believe than evolution, a concept which cannot be proved and is quite far-fetched when you take time to think about it.
One of the simplest defenses for creation is that there are no evolutionary fossils anywhere. People find fossils with mixed bones or fossils of people/animals who had health problems and claim it's a "missing link," but really, if evolution took millions and millions of years, we'd have millions and millions of fossils in various evolving stages.

Actually, it does not matter what I prefer. The truth is the truth. God created this earth and everything that you see. I don't have to defend my answer to you. I don't even know who you really are. Anyway, Jesus will be back soon and then He can defend God for me.

become human?
worms, ants, birds, plants.....from where did they evolute from?
there must be a Creator who is God...otherwise...
