Since when did the Christian church need to make sense? Jesus 'died' for our sins, right? He was sent to earth by his daddy, yet Christians think he was born to a virgin down here! He's eternal... part of the trinity Christians speak of all the time... he wasn't born here, anymore than his daddy or the holy spirit was born here. And how is it that he died on that cross we see everywhere... when he's frickin' eternal? They say he was up and walkin' a while later... cool trick for the times, I'd say. The average person back then would actually believe I was pulling quarters out of their ears or noses and I could perform all sorts of miracles with a Bic lighter or a hologram of some sort.
The church keeps you coming back and gets your money as a 'sinner'... they'd be outa business if there was anything to what they preach with reference to ancient times and fables. The original intentions were good... something to keep us from raping and pillaging and ****... oops, what's that we're doing overseas? Or in Vietnam? Or in Korea? Or... hey, our president is the righteous god! The other gods of different names and nations are cheap imitations or something... how fortunate WE are to have all our weapons of mass destruction! Our god can beat up their god... we better hope.

We are born to be sinners. No one is perfect. Jesus died for our sins, so we can have eternal life, if we accept Him into our hearts. After we accepts Jesus, should we expect to be perfect? No. Are we going to still make mistakes and sin? Yes. John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, for whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

One can do something that they desire even if they're stored. But there may be one detail that you're lacking. You can not simply consider that He died at the go for you. You ought to flip out of your sins and believe Him as your savior after which you are going to be transformed. When you turn out to be a real youngster of God, you are going to now not wish to do the ones matters anymore. You can be a wholly unique man or woman within. Look on the apostle Paul. He hated Christians. He persecuted them intensely. He killed a few of them too. But while he bought Christ, God transformed him. When one nonetheless has that wish to do the ones matters that he used to do ago, then he used to be under no circumstances stored. God wholly alterations your mind-set approximately proper and incorrect whilst you get stored. In Second Corinthians five:17, Paul writes and says that if any guy be in Christ, he's a brand new creature. All matters are passes away and all matters are turn out to be new. You are transformed from the within out. Not the wrong way round. I wish that I spoke back your query.

we are all sinners. we sin every day. i know i am a sinner and i ask for forgiveness from Jesus. Even though Jesus died for our sins we still sin...we still do wrong things Jesus dying for our sins does not mean we are not sinners. He died in place of us but we still sin.

Jesus offered his perfect human life up as a ransom sacrifice to buy back what Adam, another perfect human lost for mankind, and that was everlasting life as perfect humans. However, to take advantage of this opportunity,we must exercise faith in that ransom sacrifice by learning about Jehovah God and Christ Jesus and doing God's will....
John 3:16-"God loved the world so much, that he gave his only begotten son,in order that everyone exercising faith in him, might not be destroyed but have everlasting life".
John 17:3-"This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you,the only true God,and of the one whom you sent forth,Jesus Christ".
We will remain sinners until the 1000 year reign of Christ Jesus is completed.Only than can we again be called 'Sons of God" because we would have, by then ,been restored to perfection

First: Jesus died for those that are His. (Read the book of John) He did not atone for every person on the earth, only those that are his sheep.
Second: God does look at those that are His as perfected because Jesus' already paid the penalty of ALL his sheep's sins.
Thirdly: Even though God looks at us as perfected in Christ, all Christians are currently still sinning....even though their sins have been forgiven.
I heard a great theologian explain it this way..."Already-not yet".
We are perfected already in God's eyes, but not yet on the earthly realm.

Because we still sin everyday. Jesus was the only perfect person in the history of the world. Look at your life. Can you honestly say that you do not sin? Look, I'm sorry, but don't ask stupid questions.

Yes Jesus Christ died for our sins, but he died that we may have life and have life more abundantly, but only if we were to choose to live our life in Christ and repent. Anyone is still able to commit sin even after baptism but God is a forgiving God and if we repent then he will forgive us too. Because we are not perfect only God is and God knows this.

Jesus died to provide a way (by paying the price of our sins) that we can obtain forgiveness.
We still have to ask God to forgive us
