The hangover headache is usually caused by dehydration from the alcohol. The best way to prevent hangover symptoms is to drink a glass of water between cocktails

The hangover comes from getting dehydrated. Your liver (and kidneys) uses a large amount of water to break down the alcohol.
As long as you you have enough water for the alcohol content you drink then you won't get a hangover.

Here's a trick.... Try it next time you drink....


After your night of partying before you go to bed, go in the kitchen and chug 2 or 3 BIG glasses of water. (It'll seem like waaaay more water than you want to drink when you are drunk, but force yourself. It's worth it.)

While you sleep, your body will be re-hydrating instead of de-hydrating.

Easy. Good Tequila. Any cheap tequiila's will give you a mother of a hangover the next day but good tequila, Patron being my personal favorite avilable in the US, will never, ever give you a hangover. Trust me, I've done the research for you.

Rum is pretty good to you, if you don't overdo it. I always heard that what you mix with the alcohol is more important. Rum & coke is good. Some of those very sweet, fruity umbrella drinks are not.

The higher grade the vodka the less likely you are to get a hangover. Its teh only one I know of.

generally the more you drink the more of a hangover but in my experience sex on the beach, long island ice tea's, killer cool aid, sea breeze, things like that as they all have a juice as a base for the drink

I like drinking Bacardi 151, because you don't have to drink as much to get plastered, and I haven't had a hang over from it yet.
