Oh I'd love to know about the solution to this...but why bother? You can get a lot of Word2Pdf converters, and perhaps for free download too!

I would suggest Virtual PDF Printer to you. Here is the developer package,

You use VB6 to manipulate Windows registry, and Virtual PDF Printer does the PDF creation job for you once you programatically print to the Virtual PDF Printer.
