It depends upon a lot of factors. My daughter weighed 20 pounds at 2 years. My friend's daughter is 2 now and she weights almost 40 pounds, and thus outweighs my daughter who is now 6. Your child should always track along or around the same curve on the pediatric growth chart. My daughter has always been at or below the 5th percentile, so even though she is small for her age, it's okay for her, she isn't drastically going above or below the same percentile. The same goes for my friend's daughter, she's always tracked at about the 90th percentile. If you are really concerned, go here http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/ and put in the numbers for your kid. But don't put too much store by it, it says that my daughter is underweight and needs to be evaluated by a physician, but her pediatrician, and others she's seen all say she is okay. This well tell you if your kid is dangerously over or underweight though.

All kids are different as far as ideal weight I am not sure but my 2 yr old weighs 43 and his 3 yr old brother is only about 35.

It depends on the parents' size. Its a generic thingy.
My 1y 8m old is almost 17kg... that's a little overweight for his age but he's healthy, that's the most important thing.

it depends my three year old is 36 lbs but he has a big build casue of his dad where my 4 year old is only 27 lbs casue me and his dad are smaller
