when some one says they are throwing a curve bowl? or somthing like that..

throwing a curve bowl? I'm guessing you mean curve ball. Its an expression meaning someone or something changed directions on you and you didn't expect it. Example: You and your lover decide to get married, on the day you are going to pick out a ring, she changes her mind and tells you she wants to wait. You might say she threw you a curve ball.
