Yes I've. I reside in Orissa and I am an Oriya. Many times since my birth I have visited the beach at Puri and the Jagannath Temple also

We used to go there yearly for our family holiday when I was a child. The beach is great. The tides are not.....there are dangerous rip tides that are very storng at certain times of the year.
I am sure it is now quite over populated and probably polluted. Also, Orissa is not one of the best States to visit. Try Goa on the opposit coast.
