There's nothing wrong with showing a little bit of stomach if it is nicely toned.
You'll only be young for a little while and should enjoy your body whilst you are (within reason!)
Crop tops can look good if you have a good figure, especially if you are wearing a reasonable pair of trousers.
You can say the same for any style, why do some women wear low cut tops? Short skirts? High heels?
I think that it is a matter of confidence, no confidence and you tend to cover up completely, just the right amount of confidence you tend to wear something comfy with a little bit of flesh, and low confidence you tend to wear something with a little more flesh.
If somebody tries to categorise you - or judge you buy your clothing, then is it really an opinion that you are that interested in?

The one thing that comes to mind when I see women wear these t-shirts is that they NEED attention! They don't know how else to get it and so they use their bodies. O f course I feel there are times when wearing this type of shirt is appropriate. For example the club and performing on stage. But when a girl walks into a library and has her belly jewel showing you have to wonder if she's there to read or look at the pictures.

Most 'normal' women are too fat for these shirts to look good. Likewise low trousers. I don't want to see a pair of trousers with flesh falling out.

Like most people, if the woman has flat stomach and no love handles, she looks good. Unluckily there are women who don't realize they either have a big stomach or love handles or both and still wear this kind of T-shirts, they look pretty awful. And I can't help taking more than one look at their bare flesh.

Most people I see wearing them look like clowns as they don't have the body for it. Also I see alot of younger girls wearing that kind of clothing. I don't believe an 11 or 12 yer old should be wearing that kind of clothing as there are too many perverts being tempted.

Without being sexist, it depends on whether they have the kind of body with which to wear it, and also the kind of thing they wear with it. Like a guy with a big beer belly wearing a tight fitted tshirt.

I'm a woman and I don't like it when either sex walks around with everything hanging out, good body or not. I like it when guys leave a little to the imagination.

Why do blokes (& girls) go to the gym ............ to look good! Same thing with the clothes for women (& men).
If they have the body it looks damn hot but all too often they really shouldn't be wearing some thing that short!
A great pair of hipster jeans can look sexy as hell on the right girl!

Providing that they accept the consequence of wearing such garments, then it's fine by me.
By consequence I mean the following:
1. People may stereotype them as 'easy'.
2. They may draw in undesired attention.
3. They may receive hostile commentary from 'jealous' others.
I think, that as we live in a free society, people should be free to express their individuality as they wish [subject to the law].
