Not in the same was a computer... with computers, you have a certain capacity of memory, perhaps 16 megabytes or 80 gigabytes, and you can write files on and off as you wish. Human memory can't be deleted.. but if the brain is damaged for some reason, then memory links can be corrupted. It may be impossible for someone to access certain parts of the memory, like personal details, or details about other things like types of vegetable, cars, whatever. I think it's called aphasia, and a symptom of it is speech abnormality, because the words to describe things won't come.
Memory is actually divided into two parts, short term and long term. Things in the short term memory only last for a few seconds, and space is limited. That's why people can only do a few things at once at the most. In that respect, you can say that memory space can run out. At the same time, the capacity of long term memory is a lot larger. Barring damage, if something is commited to long term memory, then the person may be able to access it at any later point. LInks between memories wear down though, so the less we think about something, the more fuzzy the link will be. Hypnosis shows that people can recall things that happened years ago with very high clarity if put into the right state of mind however.
I suppose the catch to the long-term memory is the short term. Long term memory can hold a lot, but the short term can only take so much, and memory has to pass through the short term to get to the long term. That will limit how much we can take in, but practically it's enough for most people. That's my grasp of it anyway.

it could for a number of reasons stop functioning properly but it wouldn't run out of actuall memory, or atleast the memory that it has is so vastly huge that you would never have to deal with that problem, the only problem that you would have is that you're brain may stop proccesing the information properly and start repeating itself or something.

This question is rather moot. If you run out of memory, how can you ever know? You won't remember.
