i got alot of sh1t when i met my ex as she was a single mum, but i stayed with her for over 7 years. now im a single dad will it scare girls away? or will ur familys give u grief too?

I would date a single dad. I'm a single mom and alot of guys get scared by that. They think you're looking for them to take on the parenting responsibility. But I'm very independent and try to let them know my kids have a dad and I'm not looking for them to be one. I've found it's hard to find someone who isn't scared of the situation, but be patient and I'm sure you'll find someone who will love you and your child. Good luck.

I would but it would depend on the circumstances, it would be better if they had split up for a good while and they had sorted out their issues, like access for the kids etc, I would not want to be in the way then. Once the dust has settled then yes, I see no difference in a single father than any other single man. As long as the kids were happy as well.

The fact that someone was a single father would certanly not put me off. If anything it shows your caring side and shows that you are a responsible person. I dont think that it should matter and to anyone worth knowing it wont matter at all.
As for families I know my mum would certainly not be bothered. my dad may show some initial concern but if I really liked a guy who had a child my dad would be supportive. I certainly would not get a hard time.

No it wont scare girls away quite the oppersite i would imadgine, being a single father shows that you face up to your responsibilities and that you are loving and caring, and the same will go for there families

i would date a single father but i would also make sure that i would not get in the way of the child and the father's relationship, only because my father dated this girl and she was just gettin in the way of my father and my relationship so i would date a single father, but wouldn't make it so he took time away from his children

I would date a single father. I am engaged and to be married next month. I don't mind children. To me children are a blessing. That is what my fiance says too.
