Firstly my dear, Love is Blind! and secondly, your friend is quite old enough to know what is best for her. Is the "old man" married? If he is then advise your friend to look for somebody else to give her more happiness, but if he's not married , try and accept that she has found love, stand by her, show her taht you still value your friendship, despite the man she's attracted to. It happens my dear and she will alwys be your friend. Mabe she didn't get the love she desired from the younger guys she dated in the past, and decided to seek love in a different age range. Please understand hoew she feels and as her friend, be happy for her. Good luck!

You don't because you sure do not know. No offense, but live your life and let her live hers. Sure heartbreak may come, but it is her life. Stay out of it. I used to be concerned for all of my friends, then came the realization that we do not know anything for certain and that we can damage a lot when getting involved. Face your problems in your life and concentrate on your life only. If you cannot do this, get to a shrink. There is something mentally wrong and you need help if you have to get involved in others lives. Look at me, I am not telling you what to do, am I?

I concur with the first three posters. We all have to make our own decisions in life, whether they be right or wrong. Watching ones friend make a choice you're certain will hurt them can be hard, but after you've said your piece, all you can do is be there for them should their decision ever come back to hurt them.
It's a hard life.

You tell her by not saying a word and accepting her for who she is. Or move on. Remember this. Who are we to judge another. I wish you comfort, hope joy and peace. Good luck and much wisdom.
