how can poverty or being poor be a sin? ive heard sometimes being rich is easy to commit a sin. but not the other way round.

False, being poor is not a sin, forcing someone to remain in poverty is.

Poverty is not a sin, it is a fact of life(until we change it). the question you should be asking is wether it is a sin to steal a loaf of bread to feed a starving child when there is no ther option.
