I can not speak for the olympus but I do have the sony h2 and it is the best camera I have ever owned takes great pictures even if you shake very easy to use can't speak high enough about it had a sony before this but it had a dedicated battery and it was hard to find and big $$ but the h2 takes aa batterys so in a pinch you can get them enywhere the rechargeable ones that come with it last a long time about 100 pics depending on flash usage .I'm glad I got the h2 !
