I think this is the problem people have always had with Muslims, now that Zarqawi is dead, i expected Muslims everywhere to denounce him and say clearly that he was not fighting in the way of Allah, instead we are talking about whether he would be in heaven or not.

If he was not fighting in the way of Allah, who was he fighting for? My guess is the devil, he was populating hell and i am certain he is there right now with his master the devil.

I think because he cast terror into the hearts of believers as well as unbelievers he doesn't qualify for the vast reward.

His method of fighting was not Allah's way.

Earth's loss is hell's gain.

I don't think so:
"If any of you killed a human being it is as if he killed the whole mankind, and if he saved a human being, it is as if he saved the whole mankind".
The two verses you included are mis-interpreted. If you understood them in ARABIC you'll see that they are talking about the state of WAR, when you're defending yourself.
