Your daughter is old enough to know what she is doing. But being a hooker for her rugby team is really dangerous. What you could do is try to find other things that might interest her which could make her divert her interest from rugby to any of the activities which you would choose to offer her as an alternative. If still she does not become interested in any of those things you would ask her to choose from, just let her continue doing what she is doing right now. What is good is that she's into something which has nothing to do with drugs, alcohol or gambling. Support her all the way but tell her to be extra careful not to get hurt along the way.
Your love, support and undertanding will be her inspiration, guide and warning to be watchful of her safety as a hooker. In the process, you may, time and again, find other interesting things that she may be interested in in ithe future. That will make you worry-free for your daughter's well-being.

I think you must fill her in on the risks and then she can make an informed choice.
Stress to her the possibility of knee injuries, mashed ears..teeth beign knocked out all off which could bring her rugby aspirations to an abrupt end or even worse...lead to her exploring the dark path of becoming a tv sport pundit.
provided your daughter is tall, reasonably fit and able to drink at least 8 pints of bitter without stopping to burp, I see no reason why she can't hold her own in a unisex team. It may be that she feels she is challenging the rugby establishment by choosing this sport over something more sissy...such as syncronised swimming for example. You should be proud of her for this
Everything in life is a risk, and if she wants to roll around on the floor with an oddly shaped ball that is her choice as an adult after all.
Of course if you mean prostitution...that's probably a little different..very wrong and no career for a girl :P
I hope that this offers you some comfort
best wishes

You should be happy she is has found an interest. A lot of young women get mixed up in the wrong crowd and do unsafe things like smoking. She's lucky to have a team ..(by the numbers you mentioned, I'd say she's double-teamed)
Some young women don't like what they are doing...I imagine she is absolutely having a ball all the time.
Encourage her! Go watch her play, and take movies. You will be happy to have them when you are an old man.

As the father of a 19-year-old daughter, I can tell you that your daughter does not necessarily have to report to you, the method or source of her income. There comes a point in time that our children reach adulthood, and they are responsible for themselves. They do not have to give account. Now if she's 19, and still living at home, then she still has to follow the rules. Your house, your rules. Be gentle but firm, here! If she doesn't like it then she has to make a choice of whether to obey your rules or get her own place where she can make her own rules. Be there for her, for advice and guidance. Unfortunately, it's better that you wait until your advice is sought, rather than give it unsolicited.

You should encourage her to make money in another job because this one sounds pretty rough. If she really enjoys rugby she should not expect to play indefinitely because the strength needed to continue in rugged physical contact sports wanes before midlife in most people.

I need a change of career - are there any vacancies on your daughter's team?? It sounds like she's got it made. I'm more than happy to work flat out and I'm always willing to try new positions ...

I don't know much about rugby.
But I know a girl that is into rowing.
After every race she would dash over and kiss the winning teams cox.
Should I discourage her?.
