My boyfriend & I have a long distance relationship. We've been together for over a year and he used to be so eager to be with me. But ever since he moved back to his hometown he doesn't seem to be to keen on keeping in touch with me and now tells me he won't be able to visit me for three years. Am I making mountains out of mole hills, or should I be worried?

I´m a guy, I can tell you that´s an excuse to discourage you from being with him. You should date someone else, really that´s the best you can do. Even if you want to keep him, if he really loves you, he won´t let that happen. If he knows you´re with another guy and he doesn´t do anything about it, then you know he stoped caring, but at least you won´t bee seen like a weak person to him, and he´ll respect you more.

Definitely you should not look like a weak person in this moment, things like crying, or asking him things like "Why have you been so eager to me?" will only create more distance between you.

Dont jump to conclusions. First get the facts and then analyse. So, for this you need to get some information on what he is upto. Find out from any mutual friends or visiting him.
True love has no time limits...people can be in hearts for ever and still be not around. The other person might not know that, not unrequited love iam mentioning here....just about true love.

long distance relationships do exist and they are very hard to carry on,
it depends purely on the couple whether they wanna stick together or not!
if he's doing like this then there must be some reason behind it.before concluding the reason by yourself u better ask him know the reason why he's insisting on not meeting u?!
love can survive even without looking at each others face for years too..!
it can exist only if its true love!

You should be very worried. My husband has been in Iraq for 3 months. I want him home desperately. Not because its dangerous, but because I miss him being here. It sounds like he's dating on the side, or just keeping you till he finds an upgrade. It might be time to break up and date a guy that is closer. Like the old saying goes... Out of sight, out of mind!

He has found someone else. Find someone better and move on with your life. Long distance relationships DO NOT work....ever.

You have to do some investigation. :-? He might be hiding something from you. ASk him if you can visit him instead and if he says no or make excuses for you not to go, I think it's time for you to consider looking for a new BF

time to get reeeeeeeally worried. he's probably found someone else and doesn't have the guts to tell you it's over. so he's giving you this odd condition, hoping you'll do it for him.

good luck!
