Alcohol can make us let our guards down, but true feelings dont always come out. It can make us both emotionally and physically numb(to put it bluntly), and we may do or say things we regret later, but as with a lot of things, alcohol like drugs is an escape for many people and thus can just hide what we actually feel by making us ignore/not see what we would normally in the same situation without the presence of an intoxicating liquid.

yes bcoz on that time you are not in control of yours and always you are trying to say your feelings but without drink you realize that someone will hurt by our word, but when you are drunk on that time you never thought even you forget about all the person arround you, you only think about yourself and you talk or spoil your all the hearty things in front of all the persons but thats good bcoz after drunk no one cant say the lie things they always speak the truth.

A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts.
And there is no other way around that.
I hope this answer just changed a life. Peace.

Alcohol causes you to lose your inhibitians. So, you tend to be "braver" when you are drunk. You lose your sense of judgement, so things you think about tend to come out in a drunken stupor.

Well, more likely . Alcohol reduces your inhibitions and self control, imperceptibly at first. I have a big mouth sober, and it get's worse with a little ETOH.

not always, myself, i can still hide my true feelings, but i usually tell people what i really think of them when i'm drunk. i told a friend of my ex-husbands that he wasn't welcome in my home because of something he had done once before in my home (i didn't know he did it).

not necessarily - but almost always, you let yourself loose and say a lot more than you would normally. sometimes you're just speaking rubbish, but yeah, sometimes more hidden truths do pop up
