When it comes from my husband, my kids, and my family it means a lot to me.
Love is unconditional. I have been married 11 years now. I am 33, when I was first married, my definition of love was a whole lot different than my definition today. I know that love is something that has to be nurtured and taken special care of. So many people throw it around like it's just another word.
I tell my kids that I love them every day, it is a greeting we use..."hello love"
When my husband calls me from work, we always end the conversation with "I love you"...no matter what.
On average I probably say it at least 15 times per day!
The power of love is something that most people don't get to experience because most don't know what love is, what it signifies, and how it affects people.
The true meaning of love in my opinion, is best described in the Bible
I Corinthians 13:4-13

I think those three little words with that huge meaning are uttered far too insincerely and without much thought at times. I have once said it when i didn't really mean it , but that was 10 years ago when my head was severely screwed up. In the last three months i have said I Love You literally hundreds of times to my Girlfriend Sherry(sherbear) and each time i do, it is with the utmost sincerity. I love her more than i could ever have imagined possible, so for me those words are truly from the heart.

It means that if you're not serious, and take advantage of a woman using those words, you go to jail... at least here in Texas (or worse... lose everything to the girl)

It means everything to me coming from the right person. That would be the person who truly does.

not without complementing actions.

words without foundation are dead.

if your SHOWING me you love me by respecting me, treating me right, being there for me etc.. ill know when u say it u mean it.

but if ur beating me up, bitching about me, or putting me down, then come out with "I love you"... im gonna almost laugh.
