If you're up to the challenge and you REALLY want to lose weight, it is definately possible.
You can eat other things like bread, etc. not only raw veggies and fruits. As long as you eat healthy, your body will stay healthy. If you exercise, you will definately lose weight.
Don't feel bad if your weight goes up a little after you start working out, it's normal. After that little weight goes up, it will start going down :)
Good luck!

It depends from your basic metabolic rate per day, the amounts of calories per day and the burned calories per day. If the weight ist approx. 180 lbs than the bmr ist approx. 2000 kcal daily, eating veggies and fruits will amount to 200 kcal, three hours of aerobic activity like running, swimming etc. about 1500 kcal. The balanc of calories would be: 200 - 2000 - 1500 = 3.200 kcal deficit. To lose one pound you habe to save 3.500 kcal, so you need about 44 days. But I think it is dangerous to eat only fruit and veggies and to do a lot of sports. Normal eating by minimum 1200 kcal would be better for you and your health. Good luck nike

You need to find a source of protein to add to that diet, or you'll lose a lot more than just fat over that time period. Without a minimum amount of protein your body cannot maintain its lean mass. It will begin to breakdown muscle and bone for their nutrients.
There are also several essential fats that your body needs in order to survive. Try a more rounded diet, low in simple over processed carbs. I'd say low carb, but everyone gets scared when they hear that these days, so I'll say "stay away from sugars and over processed foods". That's the played out line that all of the ant-lowcarb nutritionists spit out right after they knock low carb diets, even though they're basically prescribing them.

You will, ofcourse, but u will feel terribly weak because ur body needs to function by all types of food..not necessary fats or over eating but only veggies and fruits? Sounds like torture to me, u need some carbs they are the fuel to your energy level.

Fruits and vegetables alone won't do it. You'll get sick without protein. You'll have to get it from egg whites, nuts, powder, or another source. You should be getting a few tips from a lot of readers in a bit.
