There is no surefire hangover cure.
It's better to prevent it than cure it.

It's good to drink lots of water before and during drinking to keep your body's nutrients from depleting too much, and the type of alcohol you drink is also a factor.

always drink water before going to bed. lots of it. i mean lots. and take some tylenol/advil/whatever before sleeping, too. that's preventative. ... Once you have the hangover, there's not much you can do.... if it's a bad one, nothing will stay down, so all the hangover cure drinks/food you hear about will not work. Personally, the thought of food/sugar/soda with a bad hangover is the WORST thing ever. maybe with a mild hangover that would help.
you just have to ride it out & sleep it off. pepto bismol helps a little, if you are not throwing everything up...
try to prevent them is my best advice... know your limit of drunkenness and try to stick to it. also, my friends always eat a slice of bread "to absorb the liquid" but i don't know how true that really is... i stick to water.

Scientifically, the best and fastest treatment for an existing hangover is to take anti-inflamatory pain killers, such as paracetamol, in the amount of about 1000 milligrams (35 oz), in conjunction with fast hydration products with electrolites and solulites, such as Gatorade or Powerade sports drinks, in the amount of about 1 liter (2.1 pints; 1 quart; 33 fl oz).
As the other answerers mentioned, prevention is better than treatment. Now you have both.

A couple of aspirins, lots of water and plenty of sleep. When you finally wake up, you'll feel 1,000% better and will be starved for some good food!

I don't really know of a quick cure, but the best way is the oldest--sleep.
