Do earthing system required in Flying plane ? If yes, How it is done ?
-- In past I had experince mild shock in in flying plane due to staical electricity.

By 'earthing' I assume you are referring to 'grounding' or disipating the electrical charge. Planes have static wicks that help dissipate the static charge to the surrounding air. They are located on the trailing (back) edge of the wings and control surfaces and are basically a plastic covered string.

You can receive a static electric shock whenever the level of static charge on any object you touch differs from your own level of charge, especially when there is little moisture in the air to drain the charge. Walking across a plush carpet can generate a static charge whether it is in your hotel room or in an airplane. An airplane can pass through dry air generating a static charge or through a cloud that has a strong electric charge. In fact airplanes can provide the missing link forming a circuit that allows lightning to pass from cloud to cloud. For that reason, the airplane may use metal straps, etc. to permit the lightning to pass through the skin of the plane and across moving airfoils (aerolons, elivators and rudder etc.) without welding the hinges in a (an unwanted) fixed position.

extra voltage wiil be passing like as heat form,or nutralized by cloud that why no need of earthing in flying plane...........ehsan khan
