For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:16-18

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 8:9-10

Well, gosh where to start?? Salvation is something that is very "great" and not too many people desire this now and days, although many "will" when the day of the lord comes!People will be wishing and begging for another chance in the "end". Salvation comes w/ first being Baptized and then simply living a righteous life. Be a good person and obey the commandments as much as you can. God is a forgiving god and he looks down at you and See's so just always be true to yourself and others. Good Luck and God Bless!

alot. too much to say.

read the New Testament.

Romans 10:9
"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

you just gotta believe, and tell God u believe out loud. (genuinely) and thats it, u are saved.

Yes, you can loose your salvation. many will disagree with me. but, if you deliberately basically tell God to get lost, yknow, like say u dont believe anymore and dont want anything to do with Him anymore, (after you have been saved) then it is the only unpardonable sin. Blaspheming the Holy Spirit. But you will know exactly what ur doing if u do it. u cant accidentally loose ur salvation. its deliberate and its a choice.

Ro 1:16, 2 Co 7:10, Heb 5:9, and 1P1:9 are some of the verses in the Bible that says something about Salvation. Our salvation comes as a gift of God's grace, but it can only be appropriated by the human response of faith. Faith in Jesus Christ is the only condition God requires for salvation. It is not only a profession about Christ, but also an activity coming from the heart of the believer who seeks to follow Christ as Lord and Savior.Through the atoning death of Jesus and the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, those who turn to Jesus will be set free from the guilt and slavery of sin.

Faith means firmly believing and trusting in the crucified and risen Christ as our personal Lord and Savior (Ro 1:17)

Faith involves repentance (Mt 3:2)

Faith includes obedience to Jesus Christ and his Word as a way of life inspired by our faith, by our gratitude to God and by the regenerating work of the Spirit (Heb 5:8-9)

Faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior is both the act of a single moment and a continuing attitude that must grow and be strengthened (Jn 1:12)

This faith in Christ brings us into a new relationship with God and exempts us from his wrath (Ro 1:18;8:1) through that new relationship we become dead to sin (Ro 6:1-18) and indwelt by the Holy Spirit (Gal 3:5; 4:6)

John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish (shall be saved) but have eternal life.

Paul is saying in Philippians 2:12-13 "Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence--continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose."

A person is "saved" from the eternal punishment in hell. The moment you confessed in your mouth that Jesus is Lord and have repented from your sins and decided to follow Jesus all you life then your salvation is intacked.

You may get quite a funny answers to your question by some persons who may like to deliver sermons on behalf of God, as if the God directly conversated with them. I womder how people say with confidence on behalf of God, whom they never get an opportunity to see,

No one in this world can confidently say how exactly he is saved by Jesus or God. God has given the terms of life for every one. So every one has to die one day when even God will not come to save him, what to say of Jesus.
