You should not pray to Mary. She was not divine, merely favored. God is the only one...God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The Holy Trinity.

I pray to the Virgin Mary and her only. I don't see why God has to be a man! Let me give you this memorare:
O remember O'most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who feld to your protection was left unaided inspired by this I fly to you, virgin of virgins, my mother.

Amen.

P.S: This is not the full memorare, but when I get it, I'll send it to you if you want it

Damn you patriarchal idiots! There is a Mother Goddess! Virginal, sexual, passionate, wise, old, young, virtuous, loving, and kind. Her hand is everywhere we look. Those of you who take the time to pray to Her divinity, know the power of Her. Whether you see her as virgin matters not. Just as there is duality in all things, there is a duality in God. The Mother, the Father, and the holy spirit being the love between them. Is it not beautiful to be created in Her image as well as His?

p.s.

I pray to her for every thing in my life. From the trivial to monumental. She is always there for me and has answered many, many prayers. She has anchored my soul, and for that I am eternallly grateful.

no, because she is dead and cannot hear us.
and because the bible says not to pray to ANYONE except the FATHER in Heaven, in the name of Jesus.

This site is an excellent explanation. read it please

its called, "why is Mary crying?"

Mary was a wonderful obediant woman, God rest her soul... but now she is dead. just as any other person. praying to her is just like praying to a dead relative. she cant answer your prayers.

its a Catholic tradition, an error.

John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

there are plenty of other scriptures that show that mary prayers are wrong. there are better ones than this one but its the first one that popped into my head.

when you pray, Just say something like "Father, i come to you in the name of Jesus, ...." etc etc etc.. say what u want! God doesnt want some Robot prayer. repetitive and boring. He wants you to talk to Him like a best friend. You call Him FATHER. thats what He is, your heavenly Father. and He loves you. Just pray naturally.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and Blessed is the fruit of thy womb; Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of god, pray FOR our sinners,
now and at the hour of hour death.
Amen.

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy!
Our life, our sweetness, and our hope!
To thee do we cry, poor banished
children of Eve, to thee do we send
up our sighs, mourning and weeping
in this valley, of tears.
Turn, then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us; and
after this our exile show unto us the
blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus;
O clement, O loving, O sweet virgin Mary.
Pray FOR us, O holy Mother of God
That we may be made worthy of the
promises of Christ.
Amen.

I do pray to her every day, and when I do it, i remember her sorrows, I praise her and I say that I love her very much, I thank her for being my mother and mother of my son, and I also thank to Jesus for giving her as my mother and mother of all mankind. Sometimes I speak to her about my day, my dreams, my fears, my hopes, my broken heart and being her the loving mother she is, i know she listens to me and pray for me to her son Jesus Christ.
