This question has been posted by an purposed college student. Who now agrees that our education system is failing miserably when a person persuing a secondary education writes a long winded, pointless, crap question such as this?

We still have war because most wars are started due to religion.
Second the bible contains more information about war, hate, turmoil than love.
Third the bible does NOT in any way contains all the answers, it is false assumptions to think that.
Forth it is the intentions of religious denominations to turn United States of America and the rest of the world into a theocracy, so that people can be punished and killed if they do not conform to religion.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and pretend I understood what you are trying to say. The world is never going to be perfect because man is naturally imperfect. Nobody completely follows the bible... we are all sinners. And on a side note... GET OVER IT. I'm sick of hearing people gripe about how the government is controlling us and yada yada yada... we have it better than the majority of the entire world.. be grateful for what you've got and quit whining. If Bush wants to listen to a few phone calls, then so be it... it might not be fair.. but at least we don't live in a country where our government decides what religion we belong to and how many children we are allowed to have. Maybe if a few people.. oh... I don't know... got an education (hint hint), learned to follow the issues and VOTE ON THEM we could make a few differences.

Yes, the Bible provides the answers we need for life. Yes, we should all attempt to follow that words/teachings of Jesus Christ. However, we all still make mistakes. Sometimes we even have a difficult time learning from them as we should. God has endowed us with a free will. We can chose wisely...we can chose foolishly. The bad things in this world are due to the fact that even though we have a free will it is held "captive" to our sinful human nature. War, cheating, stealing...those all come from within the hearts of mankind.
That is what grace is all about. None of us deserve God's love and favor. What could we possibly due to impress an Almighty Creator?! We all fall short of God's perfect standard. And when we do, we need to repent of our sins....and simply rededicate ourselves to following Christ.

Not just the Bible but all the Holy Scriptures. All questions are answered, the proof is manifest, the evidence is clear and prophecy is revealed. The blind can see, the def can hear and the lame walks.... Yes all the revelations and that even death is swallowed up. But what is the meaning of it all? Ask the right question and you might just get the answer you seek. What are the names of those virgins who stand at the gates that lead to the temple of Love?

There are two things involved here.
1. The Bible is a book containing scriptures inspired by God. [2Tim.3:16]
2. The one who is 'Controlling the entire world'.
Please understand. The world was lost after Adam's sin and went under the control of Satan - the one who is ACTUALLY in control of this world. That is why Satan could 'offer' all the kingdoms of the world to Jesus in exchange for worship.
These scriptures are an instructions manual for us - How to live in a troubled world.
A world ruled by Satan is imperfect and flawed - that is why the pain and suffering and the so many imperfect way of living.
Many of us read the Holy scriptures, but very very few can actually live by it.

because people are not perfect.
God is perfect and so is His word. the Bible.
but all because you read it and WANT to follow it, doesnt mean youll be perfect.
it just means you try your best.
oh, and the bible has all the answers, but not everyone reads it. sadly, not even all Christians read it, they trust there pastor to tell em everything correctly, and treat him like God because he is there only source of the word all week.
simple answer: people, are people. not God.
i try to be more and more like Jesus in any way i can, following the bible as closely as a person can. but i still stuff up. Thats what repentance is for. God is a good God. He forgives and gives us strength to move on and learn from our mistakes.
as far as wars go? each to there own. but my God sure isnt big on wars.

Bible has the answers to how to slay sheep and offer the blood to god. Does it say how to make medicine or how to feed billions of people or how to dispose of billions of tons of crap? No, bible is ignorant of the reality. It contains some worthy spiritual instruction but so do other sacred books to be sure. The answer is not bibles but education, technology, science, free-thought, and some spirituality thrown in for good measure.

A lot of people read the Bible selectively. They choose to emphasize those passages which validate their personal beliefs or feelings, and they ignore those that would go against them. So no matter what holy book one believes in, it does not matter. Because people in the end will choose according to their personal desires and impulses unless they have learned to control those. So maybe they start war out of anger, or out of fear, or out of a desire to display might and power.

isnt it beautiful that God created us not to be like robots but rather a being w/ free will. a will to follow what has been commanded & not to follow but then there are always consequences of all actions we took & takes be it in this life or the next the choice is yours. and yea you are right bible indeed has all the answer because it is God's word & he is the final authority of all things
