If anyone knows anything about history, then you will see that the Roman's preferred method of torture and execution was crucifixion. In addition, the Romans had a slave empire and the Jews were slaves. Therefore, it defies logic that the Jews would execute someone with the methods of those who kept them in bondage. It is believed that the Jews' method of execution was by stoning. And, please tell me where in the Bible does it ever mention Jesus being stoned to death?

When the Christians were converting Romans they could not claim Rome killed Jesus. Besides Rome would have ended those teachings fast. The Jews had already rejected Jesus so they were a convenient target to point at. This was the start of antisemitism that came to fruition in the Holocaust and countless pogroms.

It is part of traditional (not "biblical") Christianity. Christians have always called us "Christ killers" (probably from the 3rd century onwards). I suppose it makes them feel better about themselves. Much like their superscesionist theology that states that the church replaced Israel when they can't find any passage to back that claim up.

They have used this as an excuse for hatred over the centuries. Christian soldiers on their "Crusade for Christ" would locked the Jews inside their synagogue and burn it to the ground. Not such a great witnessing technique. And even though "Crusade" has such extremely poor connotations, Christian evangelists continue to use the term for their events.

When people call me a "Christ killer" I turn it around on them. If I'm the one that killed Christ, and his death covers sins, then if it was me who killed him then I am saved. Meanwhile, if it wasn't my accuser's sins that killed him then they are not saved.

your logic is correct.
Besides, if I understand Christian teachings correctly, then every sin commited by a human being put Him up there on the cross.
